Great video. I think the city council and most Atlantans are pushing for a spillover effect of all of Midtown’s fantastic mojo to flow into Downtown, and with projects like The Stitch & Centennial Yards, I think we’re 5-10 years away from seeing a truly livable and vibrant Downtown
I remain more optimistic than ever! It will just take a bit of time. It seemed like Downtown didn't have hope there for a bit as it seemed like anytime they tried to revive areas downtown, those plans just withered away. The Stitch seems so unreal but I love to see that they are trying to connect all the city together, not split it apart.
Midtown and downtown Atlanta is literally night and day and I've never understood why downtown is so neglected. I'll be glad when both midtown and downtown get way more dense. Nothing like living in a city where you can just get out and walk like Boston and NYC.
Awesome video vlog as always! I have a uncle who lives right next door to Atlanta, he lives in Decatur, and a friend of mine that i grew up with, that used to live in Atlanta and they both tell me that downtown and midtown are very nice. They also told me about the centennial yards development thats coming to downtown Atlanta and they both said from how the development looks on paper, it's going to be an amazing outstanding place with hotels, apartments, restaurants, entertainment from what they been hearing
Yes, on paper it looks amazing so hopefully it turns out that way. It has been a long time coming. The gulch development has been talked about for yearsssss so I think myself and everyone in Atlanta had their doubts that it would actually happen. It should really help turn the downtown into a more exciting place to hang out at.
@@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta Yes it definitely should. Once that development gets completed, downtown Atlanta will become much more live. Because like you said, they have great things like the popular hotels, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, sport games/entertainment at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, etc. So once centennial yards gets there, that will be the icing on the cake. But that was another amazing video vlog! You're the best RUclips vlogger in Atlanta! Can't wait until next Thursday!

Helpful video, thanks!
I'd already picked midtown 😅, moving from the burbs next week.
Welcome to the city!!

@@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta The Stitch has already been cancelled, but centennial yards development is still ongoing thankfully.
@@cameronjohnson3913 yeah! I was just over there last week to grab some shots for an IG reel - the Gulch is definitely developing (finally!!)
If I EVER win Powerball I'm definitely getting a [dog friendly] high rise condo in Midtown OR the Atlantic Station area.
I love to pretend what I'd do with my lottery winnings too!

Yeah, there’s a big difference in the vibe. I’d love to see both equally as good! Maybe with these new projects happening, it will.
This is very helpful, thank you!
You are so welcome. Thx for the comment!

Midtown is better basically.
ha! Good summary.
Jonesboro is better than both
I don’t know if I would have put Jonesboro in the same category as Midtown/Downtown. Way different areas!
